The Research Grants Council (RGC) visited EdUHK in June to gain a deeper understanding of the University’s new Education Futures approach. Various tours and group meetings enabled RGC members to interact with our research postgraduate students and faculty members. In the afternoon, there was an RGC Forum to enhance communication between the RGC panels and front-line researchers at eight UGC-funded universities. Panel chairs and members shared valuable observations on the assessment of RGC grant proposals with nearly 400 guests in attendance, including the Acting Secretary of Education, Dr Jeff Sze Chun-fai.
