EdUHK is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, with the theme ‘Education Talent Virtue’. Several events were held in the first half of the year, bringing together community partners, alumni, faculty, staff and students to celebrate.

30th Anniversary Walkathon Fundraising & Education Day
The Walkathon Fundraising & Education Day was attended by 1,000 people, including EdUHK staff, students, alumni, primary and secondary school teachers and students, enterprises and members of the general public. Its aim was to support the development of EdUHK, and education projects on teacher morality training, STEAM education and SEN education.

EdUHK 30th Anniversary Student Fair
The Student Fair was held to cultivate an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit among students. The two-day event was held at D2 Place ONE, Lai Chi Kok and was jointly organised by the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Education under the Academy for Applied Policy Studies and Education Futures and the Library. It featured over 70 stalls run by EdUHK students and alumni, as well as students and teachers from primary and secondary schools. Items on offer included ceramics, handmade ornaments and jewellery, eco-friendly products, and handicrafts designed exclusively by young artists with special educational needs.
